Alison Pill
Pill initially appeared as a Canadian-produced show, and it was a long time before breaking into The American market. Bruce Gray starred on an episode in the Canadian show Traders. Pill was able to secure an appearance on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation starring Wallace Langham and Liz Vassey in "Would Have, Would've, and Should've" written by Naren Shankar. The episode also starred Michael Ensign and Michael G. Hagerty. Pill's performance in Picard was later followed by a prominent support role as "Katie" in Devs. This TV show, produced through FX Productions on Hulu and served by the digital VFX firm Double Negative, featured her for all of the episodes. Its resemblance with Picard was not just a coincidence. It was revealed in that same year, the main theme of Devs revolved around the preservation of consciousness in an artificial structure. This was the case in the case of Data too.
