Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is an acclaimed American actress. She's appeared in many films and TV shows like "Christy", the comedy about a teenage girl known as Christy Huddleston. Kellie Martin is most famous for her performance as a protagonist of her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin began her acting career at the age of was seven years old. Her aunt, who worked as the nanny for actor Michael Landon's children, helped her land one small part on the TV show Father Murphy. Following her graduation from Yale University in 1982, Martin took her acting career more serious. She landed significant roles in television and big screens. Apart from being an actor, Martin is an accomplished photographer, as well as a ballet dancer. Her sister, who died from Lupus at the age of 19, led her to becoming the Lupus national spokesperson.
